August at GreenRoad
August has been a strong month for GreenRoad customer progress, with Big Bus Tours, the largest operator of open-top sightseeing tours in the world announcing that they are expanding their use of GreenRoad from London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi to its fleet of buses touring San Francisco. Big Bus is also considering deploying GreenRoad in a further 88 buses in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Washington DC, Las Vegas and Miami. GreenRoad has already reduced driving risk 60% for the 70 buses in London where it has been in use by 110 drivers since 2010. The blameworthy incident rate is now just 1 per 20,992km.
Kerry Foods Direct to Store has also chosen GreenRoad to make its nationwide fleet of 3.5 tonne temperature-controlled vans safer and more fuel economical. GreenRoad is being deployed across its fleet of 330 vehicles driven by 450 drivers across 26 Sales Centers. This follows a trial that resulted in crashes being cut to zero and has helped cut costs of vehicle damage and repairs. At the same time, Kerry Foods cut its fuel bill by 9 percent as all drivers became safer and greener.

Given the responsibility they have representing the KFDTS brand, we believe it is appropriate that GreenRoad also gives the drivers responsibility for their driving performance. This way they remain in control of their destiny.”
Securitas Mobile Belgium will also be deploying GreenRoad across 120 company cars to reduce accidents, cut insurance costs and lower fuel consumption. The Brussels depot will be the first to go live in July 2012 using GreenRoad localized into both Flemish and French. GreenRoad will help both Securitas Mobile company executives and its mobile security workforce understand their driving behavior in order to reduce risk through instant feedback in the cars and in-depth online analysis and recommendations.
