2014 Recap and What to Expect in 2015
With 2015 on its first lap and 2014 receding in our rear view mirror, it’s a good time to reflect on the past year and take a peek at the one ahead.
2014 was a landmark year for GreenRoad. Among other things, we offered more fleet telematics features in 2014 than any year since the first GreenRoad solution was unveiled.
Early in the year, we introduced integrated in-vehicle video to help drivers improve quicker and provide you with a reliable eyewitness on the road. Unlike traditional in-vehicle surveillance, ours adheres to the GreenRoad principles of constructive yet non-intrusive technology to transform driver behavior. We also further strengthened our solution and made it accessible to more people by developing close partnerships with industry leading Mobileye and Zonar Systems.
However, some of the most exciting developments were under the GreenRoad hood. We significantly upgraded the fleet management capabilities to make GreenRoad as effective in controlling and streamlining your operations as it is at changing driver behavior. We beefed up our Driver Safety flagship solution to include fleet performance features such as Live Fleet (real-time fleet tracking), Landmarks & Geo-fencing, Resource Locator, Route Replay & Location History and Dispatch Verification.
In keeping with these technological advances, we updated our outside face as well. November saw the unveiling of our new website that not only looks attractive; it provides more useful information about GreenRoad, more easily.
GreenRoad’s executive team logged many miles on the road in 2014, meeting with customers across the globe. Learning deeply about your needs and pain points is the driving force behind GreenRoad’s push to constantly raise the bar and tackle more challenges.
All these events are fitting as 2014 marked GreenRoad’s 10th anniversary of keeping drivers and companies safer. What does GreenRoad have planned as we begin our next decade?
Without getting into the specifics of our 2015 roadmap, we continue to improve and expand our solutions and operations. We are already off to a strong start with the addition of an office in Leeds, UK to meet the growing demand for GreenRoad in the UK and the rest of Europe.
