We are working in a hybrid mode- 2 days from home and 3 days from our offices.

About the position:

As a Junior Manual QA Engineer at GreenRoad, you will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring the quality of our products. You will also conduct field trials on our products and monitor their performance. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using a bug-tracking system.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and create test plans.
  • Perform regression, functional, and explanatory testing.
  • Validate UI, API, and database components of the application.
  • Conduct field trials of our products and monitor their performance.
  • Support the QA team in improving test processes and strategies.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc in Computer Science or a related field. Alternatively, an outstanding graduate of a professional QA course, with strong capabilities and in-depth knowledge in software testing.
  • Basic knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar).
  • Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Postman – advantage
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript – advantage.
  • Experience with mobile application testing (iOS and Android) – advantage.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or REST-assured.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver’s license -must
  • Exceptional communication skills and articulate in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently, while still being a true team player with a collaborative, problem-solving approach.
