Low Bridge Alerting

GreenRoad’s Low Bridge Alerting system automatically alerts bus drivers when they are heading for a bridge too low for safe passage – in time to take alternate routes.

It works by combining GPS vehicle location data, mapping services and a pre-defined database of low bridge hazards to feed GreenRoad’s real-time alerting system. Alerts can be delivered audibly via mobile phone or purpose-specific speaker, and/or visibly on LED panels.

The Low Bridge Alerting System is offered as an enhancement to GreenRoad Edge™, an advanced edge processing device with a unique ability to detect and analyze complex situations in real-time. Its location analysis is carried out locally without reliance on cellular connections, assuring that it remains effective even when there is little of no connectivity.
