2)      Create a sense of enthusiasm and urgency

Failure to create a strong sense of urgency causes a change movement to lose momentum before it gets a chance to start. Energise and enthuse people to make it a project that has to be done now and not just in the future and you will get the result you require in a shorter time-frame, let it drift and people won’t buy in or accept the need for change as willingly. Creating a sense of urgency and taking people with you is simple.  Take the time to rationally explain the need for change and the consequences of not changing.  Be careful to establish a true sense of urgency without creating an emergency though!
