Director of Partnership Development

partnerships across the company’s globally served markets.

behavior management since 2004. We provide the industry’s deepest driving
data that improves fleet safety and driver behavior through effective real-time
coaching, predictive AI and advanced fleet analytics.

Our driver focused solution reduces accidents, fuel, emissions, and operational
costs while increasing EV battery range. It can be deployed across all vehicle
types in any location in minutes providing a single platform to track fleet,
manage safety and identify potential risk in real time.

We’ve been helping fleets since 2004, empowering 100s of companies across 70
countries.

The Director of Partnership Development role will focus on developing and
managing relationships with key partners to enhance sales and business growth,
product offerings, and customer satisfaction through collaborative and mutually
beneficial partnerships.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic team member to join our team, be instrumental in
expanding our network and enhancing our offerings through strategic
partnerships across the company’s globally served markets.

In this role, you’ll manage existing relationships, develop new partnerships, and
oversee the integration and execution of partnership strategies in line with the
company’s growth strategies.

Ideal candidates will have an entrepreneurial spirit with a proven track record in
partnership management within a SaaS environment, exceptional negotiation
skills, and a keen commercial awareness to identify and develop opportunities
into successful collaborations.

The role is based in Israel and will report to GreenRoad’s CEO.

Business Development Director Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to define business needs
    developing partnership strategies to advance company’s sales growth.
  •  Conduct market research to identify potential partnership opportunities
    and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Establish a scalable and measurable model for identifying, qualifying and
    develop partner relationships.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to identify, target and
    engage potential partners, including industry influencers, organizations,
    and relevant stakeholders.
  • Negotiate agreements and manage contractual obligations.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with key partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper partner
    onboarding and success.
  • Track and analyze partner performance, using data-driven insights to
    optimize strategies and maximize outcomes.
  • Support marketing effort by executing on partner outreach events,
    workshops, and conferences to promote company’s brand.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling partner
    enablement materials, including presentations, proposals, and marketing
    collateral.
  • Represent the company at relevant events, conferences, and networking
    opportunities to expand partnership opportunity funnel.

Business Development Director Qualifications/Skills:

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a results-oriented mindset
    and a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Experience building partner programs in a SaaS/Cloud environment.
    Telematics specific experience, a plus
  • Demonstrable track record of negotiating and closing partnership deals
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop
    opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build
    and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to influence and
    secure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Proven experience in outreach and partnerships, with a track record of
    developing successful collaborations and driving repeatable sales growth.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability
    to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and strategies, with the ability
    to align partnership activities with broader marketing objectives.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use insights to
    drive decision-making and optimize partnership strategies.
  • Strong networking abilities, with a wide network of industry contacts and
    the ability to identify and engage new partners effectively.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial
    environment, while effectively multi-tasking and managing relationships
    with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law or a related field. A
    master’s degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in outreach, partnerships, or a related field, with a
    proven track record of success across geographies – preference to Europe
    and APAC
  • Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the Telematics or IoT industry and market trends,
    with a deep understanding of partnership development and management.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing outreach strategies
    and managing partnership programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to
    present complex ideas and concepts effectively. English Fluency a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-
    driven decisions.
