Salesforce Administrator and Business Operations Manager

We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator and Business Operations Manager to join our team. You will oversee our business application initiatives, particularly in areas relating to CRM and ERP systems, with a primary focus on Salesforce.

You will be reporting directly to the COO and play a pivotal role in driving project management, system implementations, and process improvements to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Administration: Directly manage and configure the Salesforce platform to ensure optimal performance and customization. Implement Salesforce upgrades, integrations, and new features.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create and maintain detailed reports and dashboards within Salesforce to provide actionable insights. Use data to support strategic decision-making.
  • System Management: Implement and enhance CRM and ERP systems, ensuring they meet business needs and user requirements.
  • Customization and Automation: Customize Salesforce to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Develop and maintain automation workflows, custom applications, and Apex code within Salesforce.
  • Data Management: Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Salesforce.  Perform data imports, data cleaning, and manage duplicate records.
  • User Support and Training: Provide hands-on support and training to Salesforce users, addressing technical issues and optimizing user experience.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with customer support, sales, customer success, and finance teams to understand and translate business requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve business processes using Salesforce, enhancing data utility and system efficiency.
  • AppExchange Management: Evaluate, install, and manage third-party applications from the Salesforce AppExchange to extend platform functionality.
  • Security Management: Manage user roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings to ensure data protection and compliance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in CRM and ERP implementations and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Team Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to a team of remote Salesforce admins, ensuring best practices and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Salesforce administration with extensive hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and managing Salesforce.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator) highly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Salesforce, including configuration, customization, integration, automation, and Apex development. Knowledge of other CRM platforms and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of developing and implementing practical solutions in Salesforce.
  • Project Management: Solid project management abilities with experience leading cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
